The bulk of the information on this site is derived from OLD PARISH RECORDS, though not all from direct reading of these documents on microfilm. It makes use of other sources, which in turn are based on those same records. This includes references from the International Genealogical Index. Where this is the sole source of information, credit is given thus *.

It is my intention, in time, to enlarge this site to include other records, mainly unofficial ones as access to census returns and many other government records is simpler and more widespread than it once was.
